I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University. I have been the director at St Matthew’s School since it opened in 2003. I have always strived to make our school an inviting place full of love, excitement and learning. Melissa Bell
I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois and a Master of Library and Information Science from Dominican University in Illinois. I have worked with children ages 2 to 18, and especially enjoy children’s literature. In 2013, my family moved to Chester Springs and I started subbing at St. Matthew’s in 2014. I have moved from substitute to Assistant Teacher then finally to Teacher in 2017. Jen Faust
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Millersville University and previously taught 5th grade before taking time off to stay at home with my four boys. I joined the St. Matthew’s staff in 2018 and was so excited to get back into the classroom doing what I love. Michelle Favara
I have a Bachelor of Music from the Hartt School at the University of Hartford and a Master of Music from West Chester University. I have taught vocal and orchestral music to all ages and am excited to be back at St. Matthew's! I also direct the 7-Ups show choir at Owen J. Roberts High School. Christina Kuchera
I have been teaching both in elementary school and preschool since 2000. I have a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University. I also have my teaching certificate from West Chester University. In that time, I taught preschool, kindergarten, third, and fourth grades. I have been involved with St. Matthew's since my youngest son attended preschool in 2018. In 2021, I started working at St. Matthews as an assistant teacher to a fantastic 3's class. Chris Anderson-Kramer
I have a bachelor’s degree in both French and communications. I also have a Master’s degree in educational administration. I previously taught elementary school for 15 years. I became a stay at home dad in 2019 with our son. In my free time I enjoy helping out at our neighbor’s barn and doing projects around the house. I am excited to be returning to the classroom!

I have been at St. Matthew's School since 2022. I hold an Art History Bachelors Degree from West Chester University. I grew up in Charlestown, not too far from St Matthew’s School. After growing up in PA, I lived in Florida and North Carolina, and I love being back home to raise my children. I love spending time with 3 kids and my dogs. Jacy Briggs
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Education from James Madison University. After graduating, I was a nanny in Manhattan, a daycare teacher, a preschool and 2nd grade special education teacher, and a nanny in West Chester. After marrying my husband, I was fortunate to be able to stay at home with my four children, who all attended St Matthew’s School. I was thrilled to join the staff in 2021! Kerry Corrigan
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Special and Elementary Education from Marywood University and a Masters Degree in Reading from Loyola College in Maryland. I was a special education teacher before staying home with my 3 boys. After they all started school full time, I returned to the classroom teaching preschool. When I am not at St. Matthews, I am a substitute teacher and volunteer at our elementary school. I also love to read, bake and take road trips to visit National Parks. Beth Owen
I have my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a Discipline in Early Childhood Development from the University of Delaware. I enjoyed teaching First Grade in Bryn Mawr until I took time off to stay home with my three children. I came back to teaching 3 year olds, in 2013. And have joined St. Matt’s in 2024 to continue teaching 3 year olds. I love reading and baking, but mostly spending time with my family, especially down the shore! Michelle Singewald
I have been involved with St. Matthew’s since 2006 when my children were here as students. After they moved onto elementary school, I started subbing because I loved the school so much! In 2013 I began a regular position as an Assistant in the afternoon 3 year old class. In 2017 I was thrilled to take a teaching position. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Richmond and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Arcadia University. In my spare time I love to crochet, read, and be at the beach.
