St. Matthew's School offers a variety of programs for preschoolers (ages 2+) and Kindergarteners:

Morning preschool classes are held from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Afternoon preschool classes are held from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM
Lunch Bunch is available to preschoolers from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Kindergarten runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

2 Year Olds

Offers parents the opportunity to socialize their youngest preschoolers two days per week. At this age there is a focus on social behaviors and separation adjustment.

Offers two and three day classes. There is a focus at this age on basic social skills and an increase of independent behavior.

Kindergarteners

Has been designed to meet state and local curriculum guides and standards. Our small class size allows for one on one interaction between teacher and child. Our full day program gives sufficient time to master social, emotional and academic skills.

Special Classes

Music

Our weekly Music class is a fun, interactive program for all our students. The class incorporates learning the fundamentals of music through songs, finger plays, movement activities, games, instrument play and literature. This 30 minute class will develop student’s awareness of melody, harmony, rhythm and beat, along with vocabulary, listening skills, imaginative play and turn taking in a fun and exciting format.

Kindergarten Enrichment

Kindergarten Enrichment is designed to take your Kindergartener on a more in-depth exploration of thematic subjects through individualized and group projects. Our experienced staff will provide lessons with a focus on literacy, science, math, critical thinking, and problem solving skills in a play based and caring environment, allowing students to learn and grow beyond what a half day Kindergarten can offer. We will offer five different and exciting themes during the school year. Sign up for one or all five!

Preschool Enrichment

Preschool Enrichment is designed to enhance the daily preschool learning experience. These classes will focus on science, literacy and math in a play based environment. Small class sizes will allow for extended one-on-one interactions with the teaching staff.
