St Matthew’s Masking Policy
Updated August 19, 2021
We feel it is important to note the CDC exception to schools as it relates to quarantining; if a student tests positive and was in contact with another student and both students were engaging in consistent and correct use of well-fitting face masks, there is no need for the contact student to quarantine.
Based on our current masking policy, students will be unable to eat snack in their respective classrooms due to the inability to adhere to the social distancing recommendations of 6 ft. while unmasked. However, your classroom teacher will be in touch with a plan for opportunities to have snack and lunch outside when able. Due to Kindergarten being full day, snack and lunch will be in the Christian Life Center or outside.
